Sports Photography

[vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1546416064039{margin-top: 11px !important;}”]Whether you are a professional or amateur photographer, action photography is type of photography that will most commonly  present itself on a daily basis.

It can be the kid’s sport carnival, a stunt in the backyard or attending the biggest game of the year, action photography is what you need to make all those shots perfect.

 

You will learn the settings and techniques you will need to capture those moments perfectly, the right composition and speed to make action look more dynamic and artistic.

 

Attendee should have a basic understanding of exposure and camera functions for this workshop

 

The workshop is divided in 3 days: the first one will cover the theory of how to set yourself up and understand what sort of setting you will need to apply for your shot, the second a practical action shoot where you can apply what you have just learn, supervised by the lecturer and the third part where you will learn how to edit your pictures in a professional way.

 

Day 1 – Tuesday 12th February 6:00pm-9:00pm – Theory at Shoot Workshops

Day 2 – Thursday 14th February 6:30pm-9:00pm – Practical at Roller Derby – Morley Rollerdome

Day 3 – Saturday 16th February 10:00am-1:00pm – Editing at Shoot Workshops

Born in Italy 16-10-1972

 

I moved to Australia in 2004 holding a degree in Veterinary Medicine and specialised in Horses

 

With Photography and cars always been my passion I started to photograph racing at local events and worked my way up until I scored a job at the F1 Grand prix in Melbourne in 2011 shooting for Ercole Colombo, photographer for Ferrari since the early 70’s

For the next 2 season I worked for him and then in 2014 I started working as a freelance with a season contract for Sutton Images.

I was team photographer in Formula E since season 1 in 2014 for Dragon Racing, Renault, Venturi, NIO and Techeetah, Personal photographer to Nelson Piquet Jr and Salvador Duran.

 

I won Western Australian Sport photographer of the year in 2016 and the same year runner up as Australian Sport photographer of the year.
